A Name Adrift in Memories

Underneath the starry skies, we used to dream,
Laughing ’til the morning light, a perfect team.
Your words, like magic, made my worries fade,
But now I’m wondering if it’s all starting to fade.

Do you notice when I’m by your side?
Or am I just another face in the endless ride?
I’m searching for a sign, a glimmer of your grace,
Lost in the rhythm of this crowded space.

Echoes of the past, they’re still alive,
Moments we shared, they continue to thrive.
In the midst of all the fame,
Do you recall my name?

Do you notice when I’m standing near?
Or does my voice just fade into the atmosphere?
I’m reaching out, hoping for a trace,
Lost in the hustle of this endless chase.

shadows of my mind, where memories lay,
Echoes of a time when we danced in the fray.
Your words, like poetry, set my soul ablaze,
But now I wonder if they were just a passing phase.

Do you see the longing in my eyes?
Or am I just another face in the crowd’s disguise?
I’m searching for a sign, a flicker of your grace,
But all I find is silence in this lonely space.

I’d give it all just to turn back time,
To when your laughter was my only rhyme.
But fame’s embrace has pulled you far away,
Leaving me here, lost in yesterday.

Do you see the tears I’ve shed for you?
Or do they vanish in the spotlight’s hue?
I’m drowning in the echoes of our past,
Hoping this friendship will forever last.

Echoes of the past, they linger on,
Remnants of a friendship, now almost gone.
Amidst the fame and the acclaim,
Do you remember my name?

In the silence of the night, I hear your voice,
But it’s distant now, just a fleeting noise.
I hold onto the memories we shared,
Praying that someday, you’ll remember you cared.

Echoes of the past, they linger on,
Remnants of a friendship, now almost gone.
Amidst the fame and the acclaim,
Do you remember my name?

In the echoes of the past, I’ll remain,
Hoping against hope that you’ll call my name.
